For those of you watching the news, be careful of developing a habit that is actually a negative thing in your life. While it is absolutely pertinent it also is depressing and can give the strongest of people a sense of helplessness. I can only imagine how the amazing medical teams feel as they try to cope with a virus that is mutating and the things they are doing as a standard practice have to be re-arranged.
We are all God’s children. He will never abandon us. And we should never abandon our creator. One-way relationships do not work on any level. Be sure that you love God back in thought and in deed. He loves all of us, his children, and we should always return that love ten-fold.
If worship is your way of loving God, then take time everyday to worship. If simply talking to God is your way of thanking Him then talk away. He is listening and He is watching. Tell Him that you love Him and tell him that you trust Him to get us through these difficult times. He wants to know, as any parent would, what is going on in their child’s head, after all, He already knows each of our paths. Love Him any way that you know is true love. He already gives us His love every single day.
Take care. Be safe. Be there for you family, your church family and your friends.
