Missions Supported by Mt. Zion
Hospice of the Upstate:
Hospice of the Upstate serves terminally ill people of all ages, with all types of progressive diseases. Hospice of the Upstate has been caring for terminally ill patients and their families since 1988.
Clean Start (A hygiene and resource center):
This ministry, in the spirit of God’s call to compassion, serves the homeless, poor, and marginalized by providing facilities for them to achieve basic hygiene, cleanliness, mail and phone access, and to help direct them toward the availability of other services they may need. Clean Start helps their clients feel better physically, improve their self-worth and confidence, and support them in improving their situations. Their staff of volunteers treat clients with respect and provide a safe, welcoming environment to help them maintain a feeling of dignity through their daily contact with others.
