
Michael Fleming, a native of Hartwell, GA, retired as the principal of Dacusville Elementary School in Easley, SC and is currently serving as a program facilitator for SC Teaching Fellows. He also works as an adjunct professor for Anderson University, Southern Wesleyan University and Clemson University. He continues to work with the School District of Pickens County in a consulting role.
Michael earned an Associate of Fine Arts degree from Anderson University; a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Southern Wesleyan University; a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University; and, a Doctorate in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
Prior to coming to Mt. Zion, Michael served varied roles such as church choir member, accompanist, organist, pianist and music director at several churches in the area including his home church- Bethany Baptist in Canon, Ga; First Baptist Church, Central, SC; Roberts Presbyterian Church, Anderson, SC; and Shiloh United Methodist Church, Piedmont, SC.
Michael enjoys all things Clemson, cooking (or trying to) and spoiling his two Frenchies- Lola and Carly.
